What exactly is a Dobby?
A Dobby is an AI companion for a friend group, with its own look, personality and shared memories. Dobbies is being built to help your people chat, plan and do things together.
Can I download the app today?
Not yet. Join the early-access list and we’ll let you know when the iOS app is ready to try. Android is coming soon. There is no public App Store release today.
Does everyone need to connect their tools?
No. Connections will be optional and belong to each person. Connect an account once in your profile; your Dobbies can use it only within your permissions. Other group members won’t inherit your credentials.
Will it book or send things without asking?
External actions will require a concrete preview and your approval, or an authorization you have already scoped to that action. Dobbies won’t call a reservation confirmed without a verified result.
Can we create our own character?
You can start with an original preset and make its personality yours. Custom image and 3D generation are separate capabilities still being explored. We’re not promising custom 3D from a photo at launch.
What happens to my early-access email?
We store it to contact you about Dobbies access and launch updates. We don’t sell it. You can ask to unsubscribe or delete it through our support page.
